OYO 2728 Hotel Horizon

It’s a budget-friendly place with a basic, workable room and AC that works. The pool needs better maintenance and the service was poor. Fine if you’re out at clubs or the casino late and only need somewhere to sleep, but there’s nothing special about it.

We paid extra for a MakeMyTrip meal plan that included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but when we arrived the hotel refused to provide meals, saying they hadn’t received payment from MakeMyTrip. We had the booking confirmation showing meals were included, so that wasn’t our problem. The front desk staff were rude and had no basic customer service. We had to ask again and again for towels, mugs, and toiletries, and still couldn’t get these basic things. We’d also been promised early check-in by 2 hours, then had to pay ₹1000 extra for it and didn’t even get a bill. This was a nightmare stay at Townhouse Calangute Formerly Hotel Horizon. MakeMyTrip should take note and act so customers are protected. It felt like the hotel was taking advantage of people and making a mockery of hospitality. Rating: 1/5 stars. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. #TownhouseCalangute

The food was very good, and I really enjoyed my 4 days here. The location is great, and the staff were helpful, understood everything, and guided us well.

The rooms and bedsheets weren’t clean, and the rooms were poorly maintained. Bathroom facilities were bad, bottles of water weren’t provided, and there’s a hygiene problem. No parking either.
