Regenta Central Imperial Candolim Goa

We were visiting from Gujarat (Surat) and had dinner with our family at Regenta Centeral Imperial Candolim. The staff made us feel at home, were courteous and helpful, and stayed ready to assist even when it took extra effort. The food, service, and cleanliness were all outstanding. Special thanks to chef Mininath for the lovely food and hospitality, and to Mohit for his courteous service. It was a wonderful experience for us. ☺️

The hotel is in a great spot on Candolim’s central main road, and it has dedicated parking. Staff were responsive, and I had no complaints about the service. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the food was exceptional. Overall, a very good experience.

I booked two rooms and stayed with my 1.5-year-old baby, and the conditions made for one of my worst hotel experiences. The AC wasn’t working properly, water kept leaking all night, and the room became extremely cold and uncomfortable. My baby couldn’t sleep well. I complained to reception more than once, but nothing was fixed. The room boy came several times to wipe up the water, while the leak itself continued. There was also a foul toilet smell. I reported that to staff too, but no action was taken. Service was very slow. Food and other room service orders took around 30-35 minutes, and even basic extra items took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. Parking was another problem, as guests had to leave their vehicles on the roadside.

I stayed for 5-6 nights, then returned for one more night. The reception staff helped move me when I wasn’t comfortable with my room, and the luggage staff kindly kept my bags in a locker after checkout until my flight. Restaurant staff were courteous, and everyone I dealt with was kind, polite, and respectful. The rooms were clean and the area felt safe. I’d recommend staying here.
