De Mandarin Hotel, Goa

The staff are what make The DeMandarin Hotel stand out. They were warm, polite, and genuinely ready to go out of their way, which gave the stay a personal feel and made us feel looked after. It's conveniently near both the beach and main road, yet away from the busiest bustle and traffic. That balance made getting around easy while keeping things peaceful. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere that suits families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a quiet stay. Breakfast had a thoughtful mix, with refreshing vegetable shots and a live counter serving fresh items. The dessert selection felt limited beside the rest and could be improved. Still, the food was enjoyable. A dependable place with good service and a peaceful location, and one I'd consider returning to.

The stay was well worth the price, and the staff made it memorable. Sugyani at reception and manager Vipin were especially welcoming and helpful. Manjunath and Raj in the restaurant made each meal a great experience, and the housekeeping team kept everything in excellent shape and were attentive and helpful. Bibha manager wasn't available, didn't pick up our call, and wasn't there. Even so, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend the hotel.

Breakfast came with plenty of choice, and everything tasted good. The rooms were spacious enough and comfortable. In-room dining was a little slow, but manageable. The prices were reasonable, and I had a comfortable stay at this Candolim property.

We spent five days and four nights dining at Apricot Restaurant, part of De Mandarin Hotel, and the experience was wonderful. Tuna and Dolu were kind, attentive, and greeted us with a warm smile each time. They checked we were comfortable at every meal and really went the extra mile. Their care made the trip memorable, and we looked forward to eating there every day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Goa.
