Amrutham Ayurvedic Village Resort

What stayed with me most were our hosts, Veena and Sudhakar. They were warm, kind and genuine, and made us feel completely at home. Their personal touch came through in every meal and all the little details. Five childhood friends came together from different parts of India after years apart, and Amrutham Gamaya was a beautiful place to reconnect. Greenery, birdsong and a gentle breeze brought a sense of calm as soon as we arrived. The morning meditation sessions felt peaceful and grounding, deeply connected with nature. The trees, stillness and even the light seemed part of it. We came to catch up with each other and left feeling refreshed, peaceful and more connected with ourselves too. Wonderful people and memories we'll always cherish. I'd highly recommend adding it to your Kerala bucket list! 🌸

The serene atmosphere really lifted our experience, and we also had an Ayurvedic therapist available who met our needs. The rooms were spacious, tidy and clean, and the place is central to many popular attractions nearby for anyone keen to explore. The resort arranged a very knowledgeable cab driver who guided us throughout our stay. The courteous staff welcomed us with an Arti and a sweet, which was lovely, and were accommodating to our needs. I'd recommend this place to others and am planning to come back with friends.

We had 3 of the 8 rooms, all spacious, neat and clean, and the surroundings were serene and quiet. The resort had recently been renovated, making it comfortable for relaxing with family and friends. The pool was clean and well maintained, and the Ayurvedic massage service was very good. Food was available on request, and the cook accommodated our dietary requirements. It was convenient to get here from Trivandram Airport and Railway station. The resort arranged an English-speaking driver who was accommodating and knowledgeable about local attractions. We hired him for our full 4-day trip and visited many places nearby. During the first 2 days, local authorities were redoing the final stretch of the approach road, so we had to take a detour. This has since been fixed. Excellent value for money, and I'd recommend it to my friends.

Between meditation sessions, we talked for hours about school, old crushes and dreams we'd shared under the playground skies. What touched me most was how quickly we picked up where we'd left off, as though the years apart hadn't happened. Reuniting with childhood friends at this serene Ayurvedic retreat in Kerala is something I'll treasure forever. Surrounded by coconut palms, it felt like time had slowed just for us. The retreat served wholesome vegetarian food made fresh from its organic garden. Steamed vegetables with fragrant Kerala rice, tangy rasam, coconut curries and herbal teas were simple and nourishing. Sharing meals, laughing and teasing each other like old times made every bite special. It was more than a wellness getaway, it reminded me that friendship, like good food, gets richer with time. A heartwarming place to heal, reconnect and enjoy being together.
