I was unsure when I booked Golden Tulip, since it’s hard to know if a hotel will match what you expect. But once I arrived, those doubts went away, and the experience was even better than I’d hoped. The staff made the biggest impression. Everyone I met was warm, polite and helpful, and their professionalism made everything feel easy. The rooms were spacious, spotless and well maintained, with a calm, elegant feel that was relaxing after a long day of travel. The service stayed consistent, and the attention to detail was lovely. I’m glad I chose Golden Tulip. The team made the stay really pleasant, and I’d happily recommend it for comfortable rooms and warm hospitality. I’d love to come back.

Breakfast was the highlight for us, with a tasty spread on both days. In the sweltering heat, the head of the Cafeteria even made cold coffee just the way I asked for it. The staff were friendly and polite throughout, from Shikha and team helping us quickly at reception, to Govind at the pool, then Dilip and Sunil making checkout smooth. Thanks to everyone at the Golden Tulip for making our stay worthwhile.

Ruth from housekeeping was a standout, doing her work with real care and efficiency. The restaurant team, especially Matthew, Indira and Narg, were fabulous, and the other dining staff were excellent too. When I said I don’t eat onions or garlic, they promptly made and served fresh breakfast for me. Everyone was kind, well presented and polite. It’s a good place for a calm stay. Awesome experience.

We waited 40 minutes past check-in time with no apology or accountability. The manager, Arjun Kohli, was rude and arrogant. When we asked for help, he said, “Rehna hai raho ya chale jao.” There was no hospitality or respect, just excuses and attitude, and the staff seemed careless. Before arriving, we spent over a week following up more than 20 times to change our dates or get a refund. We were still within the refundable period they had promised, and we had proof of a medical emergency, yet they didn’t respond or resolve it. Eventually, the dates were changed to 1st June. Management clearly doesn’t prioritize guests. One of my worst hotel experiences. If you care about your time, money and peace of mind, stay far away. There are better options in Candolim.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was amazing. I’ve been here 15 times, but this is the first time I’ve been so happy. We really enjoyed our stay.
