Check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and the staff were courteous and knew how to speak with customers. I was given a room upgrade because of room availability issues, while another booking was denied because they had run out of rooms. The property and rooms are very nice, and I stayed in a spacious cottage. You can book through Yatra, Goibibo, Makemytrip and other options. The hotel is right on the main route to Candolim beach, but it doesn’t open directly onto the beach as you might expect from the photos. Watch out for misleading pictures. This is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed in Goa.

The location is awesome, but the service was pathetic. Over my three-day stay I had to change rooms twice: the first had an electrical circuit problem, and the second had a toilet flush that didn’t work. We’d come for a peaceful stay and ended up dealing with those hassles through no fault of our own. Despite calling many times, staff didn’t bother responding. At checkout nobody was there to help, so I had to carry all the luggage to the car myself. Breakfast was below average, and the quality wasn’t up to mark. The rooms are getting old.

We walked in on a weekend and booked a cottage at the best price offered. It’s within walking distance of the beach and the major restaurants on Candolim main road. Newton supermarket is right on the main road too, handy for picking up snacks to enjoy in the room. The staff were responsible and brought us extra towels. We didn’t use the pool because the water didn’t look very clear to us. Breakfast choices were limited. All in all, good value for money by Candolim beach.

The service was very poor. The receptionist was quite arrogant, and nobody took my complaints seriously. The room wasn’t clean when we arrived, and the mattresses were so old they made sleeping uncomfortable. Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, and breakfast offered hardly two or three items. They also wouldn’t take à la carte orders. The hotel is too old. A very frustrating stay.
