We had a great four-night family stay in October 2018. The owners were nice and helped with extra requests, and the central location meant everything was nearby. Our room and bathroom were clean, the TV, AC and wifi all worked, and parking outside the building was fine.

The owner replied defensively to my earlier review about the problems during our stay, and the response felt disrespectful and degrading. We came because of the good reviews, and while everything else was clean and the housekeeping staff were friendly, I only wanted to point out what could be improved. The AC really wasn't working on the first day, and its filter had to be changed. The owner claimed we didn't know how to operate things. They also said we were loud and "shouting" and that complaints had come in, but nobody told us at the time. We could have taken steps to fix it if they had. For checkout, we offered to pay extra for extending the hours, but they wouldn't accept that. The owner spoke condescendingly, and we left at exactly the time they told us to.

I stayed here for six days with two other people and thought the Diwali-season price of 1400 a night was a great deal. It's a peaceful place, with wifi and many services available. The owner was cooperative and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and staff service was good. It's less than 100 meters from the main road, and rental cabs are available. Candolim beach is within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent four days here and really enjoyed the open sitting areas in both rooms, where our group could chat late into the night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are roomy with all new equipment. Cleanliness was in a class of its own. It's just a three-minute walk to Candolim beach, handy for a trip with friends or family. We were welcomed by a very pleasant couple, and aunty was especially sweet to talk to.
