Chakrata Inn Resort

The heater didn't work, and the service was poor. We had to keep reminding the staff about basic things and our food, and they were rude and unhelpful. There was hair in the food and flies in the tea, which was completely unacceptable. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend it.

I expected to stay two days at Chakrata Inn Resort, but checked out after one because the experience was so disappointing. The location is excellent and the construction looks good, but that was the only positive for me. The room switches were mostly broken, which felt unsafe, and the washroom wasn't properly cleaned. There were no proper toiletries or other essentials. There was no water in the room or washroom, especially between 5 and 8 AM. I called several times without getting a proper response, and even getting drinking water meant following up repeatedly. Food service was also extremely slow. I arrived around 3 PM and ordered at 3:30, but the food didn't come until 5:30, ruining my plans to explore Chakrata that evening. The next morning there was still no washroom water, and breakfast took 2-3 hours, spoiling my plans for the day. There was no bonfire or music night, and the hospitality wasn't what I expected. Management wasn't helpful either. Whenever I called the manager, I was told to speak to “ma’am,” which showed clear mismanagement and a lack of responsibility. My planned relaxing trip was completely spoiled. I had a horrible stay and wouldn't recommend the resort unless they make serious improvements.

Peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality made our stay at Chakrata Inn Resort really enjoyable. The location has beautiful scenery, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would recommend it! 🌄✨
