AS Clarks Inn

I had called the reception and was told a Premium room was available, but when I arrived they gave me a Suit Room for the same rate. At my request, they decorated it, which made my stay memorable. Thanks to the whole team. The staff were nice, and the rooms and linen were neat and clean. I had checked four nearby hotels, where the linen wasn’t properly clean, so I think this is Dalhousie’s number one hotel for cleanliness. It’s a very nice, cool place.

We came as a family and had a terrible experience for the exorbitant price. The location is far inside, and there are plenty of good hotels along the way. Parking wasn’t proper, either. The hotel is old, the rooms were cramped and smelled bad, and all four rooms we booked had the same problem. The lobby roof was leaking, and they didn’t even change the bed sheets. Food and service were also awful, with limited choices and endless delays. When I spoke to a woman from management, a GM, she said we should have arrived earlier so they could sort things out. Our booking was for the full day, but we got there at midnight, apparently our only sin. There was nothing good about this hotel. Just ignore it, you can easily find good hotels there.

The food was fabulous in both quality and quantity, and the price was reasonable. Staff had a great attitude and behaved well. Responses came quickly, and room service, housekeeping, and laundry were all very satisfactory. I’d recommend staying here.

The food was really good, and the staff throughout the hotel were polite and helpful. I stayed for three nights, and Mr. Sunil, the manager, was especially professional and courteous. He made sure I had a great experience in Dalhausie. One of the best hotels I’ve visited.
