We only stayed because of an emergency, so it was passable for that. The staff weren’t cooperative, and you have to ask for things like sheets, towels, or water instead of having them provided. Check that everything in the room works before you take it. It’s near Chamba’s main market or the old bus stand.

The room looked okay, but there were several problems: a broken toilet seat, standing water in the bathroom, dirty, smelly blankets, no charging point, and a broken TV. It cost around Rs 1200. The motel seemed to have investment from OYO, but locals had boycotted OYO.

We checked in last evening, and there’s been no water in the room for two hours this morning. No one was at reception, and the hotel phone numbers got no answer. After several trips down from the second floor, I eventually found a staff member who said they’d turn on the connection and water would come soon. That was 30 minutes ago, and I’m still waiting. Draw your own inference.

The rooms are good for a budget stay, but there’s no food available. Google Maps shows the wrong location, so ask around if you’re trying to find the place.
