The one good point was that the staff were helpful. The rest of our stay during the Chardham yatra was very poor. Corridors were dirty, with spider webs in many places, and most rooms smelled damp, as if they hadn’t been used for days. We had to move through 6-7 rooms before finding ones where basic things like the fan, taps, and toilet flush worked. In the end, we had to use the bathroom in another vacant room.

A budget place with good food, though it felt a little crowded.

We were nine people and booked the dormitory. It had lots of mosquitoes and spiders, and the shared washrooms and bathrooms were in awful condition. There were no cameras outside the rooms or in the common area. Between 1 and 3 am, someone banged hard on our door, and we had to call the police. The owner takes payment in advance, and after that, in my experience, his promises disappeared and he showed his true colors. This was the worst experience in Uttarakhand for me. Please be very careful before booking. The place is haunted too, so the choice is yours.
