Hotel Girija Residency

Everyone, including the Manager, was polite and responsive, and the service was good. I liked my stay overall. A couple of small things were missing when I got the room, namely hand wash and drinking water.

We booked two rooms late at night at reasonable rates. They were clean, neat, and comfortable, and the staff were supportive. The service was good too. In the morning, after 10am, they brought buckets of hot water, since I guess it was available in the room only until 10 am. A very good experience.

I stayed around June 2019, before the monsoon. The hotel was about 1.5 km from the MSRTC bus stop and 1.2 km from the railway junction. My room and the hotel areas were very clean, especially the bathroom and bed, and I slept really well with the good hospitality. The staff were supportive and always smiling. Bisleri and RO water were provided, and tea, coffee, and milk were available. Some things cost a bit more, but you get luxury service. Best to call before arriving.

The staff at Hotel Girija Residency were attentive and supportive, which made the service a strong point of my stay. The Kolhapur location was convenient, too. Cleanliness was more mixed: the beds were well kept, but the floors needed more attention, and the lift and other shared areas did not seem to get regular cleaning. Since the lift gets so much use, it should be maintained and cleaned more often. Better hygiene in those places would make the stay more pleasant.
