Hotel Coral Star

I stayed with my family and was really satisfied with the food quality, room hygiene, service, and location. Every employee was supportive and did their job well.

For a budget hotel, the room size was decent and the washroom was clean. The food was tasty, and the location is about 8 kms from the airport. Good value for money.

I regret booking this hotel after spending just one night there. The room smelled, the bedsheets and pillows were dirty, and basic hygiene was missing. Staff were extremely unprofessional and didn’t have basic hospitality skills. It was an embarrassing, unpleasant stay, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place. The worst hotel in Chandigarh.

The ambience is good, the rooms are well furnished, and the staff are nice and prompt. Food is good too, though breakfast options are limited but okay. It’s a nice budget range property in Industrial Area Phase II. General cleanliness is good, but I’ve noticed an obnoxious smell in the rooms and bathrooms before. The bathrooms need periodic deep cleaning. Bedding, especially the razai and pillows, can have an unpleasant damp smell. Maybe the laundry store is humid and unventilated, or there could be a cleaning issue. I hope management looks into it.
