Jm Plaza by OYO Rooms

The room itself is quite good for the price, but booking online was a problem. At check-in, the receptionist or owner said the hotel was full and wouldn't give me a room because I hadn't booked directly with them. Then I had to pay an extra 300 or 400 to get one. At that point, it feels like your advance booking means nothing. This happened to me twice, in Jaipur and Chandigarh.

I booked through OYO Rooms, but when I arrived they refused to give me a room unless I paid another 400 rupees. I tried to resolve it through OYO four or five times with no luck, so I cancelled, but my money wasn't refunded and stayed blocked. I had to pay again later, and the room was still poor, with neither the geyser nor the RO working. Don't pay in advance.

We got there at 2am and left at 10am the same day. They charged more than the online price and ignored the offer. The manager said they wanted more money at night because customers couldn't go anywhere. There was no water, soap, towel, pillow, or quilt in the room, and you had to ask for everything. Water cost extra, there were no curtains, and the online pictures were false. The AC and fan didn't work, and there were no paid channels on the TV. OYO will lose its reputation if places like this keep operating. JM plaza, you exist because of us, not the other way around. Improve your attitude.

The room had a really strong unpleasant smell, and the hotel staff were sometimes rude, with a very unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude. They also asked for an extra Rs.150 on top of the Rs.333 I had paid on makemytrip.
