OYO 72080 Hotel Chandigarh inn

I booked through Agoda for July 10th and 11th. On arrival the hotel refused online bookings, saying they get less money that way, and demanded 1500 for a stay. I complained to Agoda, but according to the hotel partner I ended up staying after paying extra. Fraud people, fraud hotel, making money through online bookings. Places like this should be blacklisted.

The room was spacious and all the amenities worked perfectly. The staff were well behaved, and there was a washing machine plus a place to dry clothes on the terrace. The location is close to the railway station, but the area is cozy and crowded, which can make it hard to get a cab or order restaurant food. You can order food, though I felt they charged a bit too much. Still, it was a good stay overall, and I'll consider staying here on my next visit to Chandigarh.

We'd paid an advance for an online booking, but when we reached at midnight with our families, they refused to give us a room unless we paid almost double. We were in an unfamiliar city with nowhere nearby to go. The manager arrogantly said it was their hotel and we had to follow their terms. I'd rate the hotel and its manager minus one star. Police should take action for harassing tourists at 2 pm, midnight.

The rooms are good, but the location isn't. Staff were rude, there's no room service, and the bathroom had no lights or drinking water. They also ask for extra money when you book through the OYO app.
