OYO 7372 Platinum Inn

The chef is very down to earth, and the food was amazing. Staff were cooperative, and it’s a nice place to stay for a few days at affordable prices. If it’s off season or bookings aren’t full, you can also bargain.

The food was amazing, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was in good condition, though a bit tidy. We stayed one night each, and it made for a cool off vacation. The WiFi didn’t work, which was an issue, but aside from that we had a great stay and would love to return. Recommended for everyone.

The room was tiny and cramped compared with the nice bedrooms shown on OYO’s website. We booked OYO 7372 Platinum Inn in Nayagaun, which OYO lists as Chandigarh, for my family, my wife, our two kids and me, from 15th to 18th April. The booking ID was W4T76607. During our two-day stay, nobody came to check whether we needed water, tea, or anything else. When we needed towels, my kid had to go ask at the desk. We only came back to the hotel at night, and I left my family at my friend’s home in sector 22 during the day. From our point of view, this isn’t a family hotel. The washroom felt like a roadside public toilet, the room was full of mosquitoes, and even basic things were missing or unusable: toilet paper, water, a proper flush, soap, a dustbin, a doormat, a table or chair. The TV and phone were just for show, and there was no cleaning. If the power went out, we had to sit without electricity. The room lock didn’t work either, so we always had to ask someone at the desk to open and close it. On the first day we sent OYO six complaints and repeatedly contacted customer assistance to request a hotel change, but got no call back or response. Even 48 hours after registering the complaint, there was still nothing from the OYO help desk. My experience was really pathetic, and OYO’s service was deplorable. You can’t trust them for a booking. This room isn’t worth more than Rs. 100 for a day, and only a bachelor could stay here. Very bad experience. I’m still waiting for a call from OYO help desk.

We booked through Oyo and went in person to see the rooms. As soon as we saw them, we left, we couldn’t stand there another minute. The rooms smelled, the sheets were dirty, and they still hadn’t cleaned the room. The bathroom condition is beyond words. Neither the locality nor the ambience felt adequate, and this is the worst place to stay if you’re traveling with family. Book at your own risk.
