Our five guests enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, well-maintained property and attentive staff at Himalayan Kothi, Kais. The setting is the best part, the view from the property is magnificent. But as someone who lives in Kullu, it’s disappointing to say the food and service didn’t match it. There seemed to be too few staff to handle orders, even for drinks. I hope they improve both the meals and customer service.

Shalini and her family were lovely hosts, and Thakur ji gave outstanding service. I stayed for two days and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Thanks for such a great experience.

Waking up to the snow-covered mountain range was blissful, and the view from the beautifully made traditional wooden houses is astounding. Staying here made me feel like a Himachali. Shalini Vats, the owner, welcomed us warmly and helped us experience the hills, local culture, traditional attire, food, and hospitality. She also took us to her orchard, where we felt close to nature. I felt a spiritual connection and a closeness to nature and God. This is more than a hotel or a place to stay, it’s an experience, and a must-visit if you’re in Kullu.
