Ramgarh Heritage Villa

The standout was the service. We had to leave for ladakh at 5:30 am, and they prepared food for us and filled our 20 liter water jug with RO water. There's no intercom, so you need to call the caretaker on his cell phone, but that works. The property has a lush green garden and plenty of room to sit and chill among mature trees. The rooms are in old style cottages, but everything was clean, including the sheets and towels. Hot water came pretty much instantly, the bidet jet spray had good pressure, and basic toiletries and a little seating space were provided. An exhaust fan in the washroom would be useful. The road in is only wide enough for one car, with paved strips where the tyres go. A fwd sedan can make it easily; motorcycles may find the climb a bit hard, but it's doable.

The view is beautiful, and the place is full of greenery. It's a lovely spot for a family to stay together and enjoy time together, with very tasty food.

The staff were awesome, soft spoken, and always ready to help. They even lent us a cricket bat and ball. We stayed about 3 days at Ramgarh Heritage Villa during a Christmas trip to Manali with friends last month, and I liked the cleanliness, staff cooperation, and overall environment. The room had a TV and cable, and when we called the help desk, someone came within 5 minutes. They also provided WIFI for when we had no Internet connectivity. Our package included food, with veg and nonveg options. Breakfast had North Indian food with panjabi tadka, plus bread with cheese or jam, juice, and fresh fruit. I especially loved the "PARATHA". Lunch and dinner were tasty and served well. The room was very good, with a bed, water, pillow, towel, and other necessary things. I'd recommend the hotel to everyone. One note: the attached pictures were taken from Internet, but the hotel really does look the same and is that clean.

The cooking team deserves a special mention. They made the best food we had in Manali, and the chicken masala was good. They even let us prepare Hyderabad Biriyani, and we all enjoyed eating together. The staff were very courteous, and our heritage style room had a beautiful view of the snow capped mountain. Best place to stay in Manali.
