Aloft Chennai OMR - IT Expressway

I stayed for a few days. The buffet dinner had a good range of choices, and the rooms were spacious, well designed, and well maintained. The shower area looked clean and neat. My overall stay was good, though the front desk could handle customers better.

I only went to the Bar, and it was a lovely visit. In the hot weather, a chilled beer was just right. The staff were good, and the ambiance was excellent. Drinks come with complimentary snacks like chips and peanuts, and they were good quality. There’s live music, and happy hours or other offers may be available during events and cricket matches.

I spent more than three months here, and the stay was peaceful and good. I’ve grown fond of my room and hope to return. Housekeeping, especially Nayak and team, were proactive and sincere. Pradeep and Srujuna were professional and helpful, and Vivek made guests feel welcome. A few things could be better: the buffet menu gets repetitive, the AC sometimes doesn’t work properly, and the room key kept getting damaged, which was a real bother after work. For a visit to Chennai for personal or work reasons, aloft is one of the best places to stay.

We had a short company function here. The veg dishes were good, while most of the food was bland, especially the chicken. Desserts were okay. The hall felt dull, with old tapestry, a drab carpet, dark colors, and poor lighting. Cutlery was below standard. As a hotel, it was okay overall.
