It’s an older building in a central spot, with easy access from the main road. The rooms are spacious and the place is quiet, though cleanliness could be better. Free parking is available, and you can pay by cash or digitally. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours. There’s no restaurant, but breakfast is free through a partner restaurant. Bottled water costs extra.

The room hygiene needs work, including more regular cleaning and odor control, and the air conditioning could cool more effectively. There were no concessions on the price, either. Still, the hall was well maintained, with neatly arranged chairs and elegant table settings that made a lovely setting for our event. The food was another highlight: there was a wide choice of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, all nicely prepared and presented. Our guests had plenty of praise for the flavors. Mr. Nithyananda and the rest of the staff were attentive, courteous, and professional, and helped the event go smoothly. RPR Residency made a great venue for our gathering, and I’d recommend it for special occasions. I’d be glad to hold another event there.

My stay was not good. The rooms and corridors need better cleaning, and the window curtains need attention too. Bathrooms should be cleaned properly even when the toilet seats carry a 'Disinfected' label. In rooms beside the road, traffic noise comes through the windows, and the mosquito problem needs to be addressed. The hotel may have been good in the past, but it needs broader improvements to match what clients expect now.

The reception staff behaved very badly, and they asked for tips without giving a bill. The rooms looked nothing like the ones shown on the websites, and there was no cleanliness. The building is very old, and the management's layout changes are ridiculous: to get to the first floor, you have to take the lift to the second floor, then go down 30 steps. Find another hotel in Chennai if you want a pleasant, memorable stay.
