The room was full of cockroaches, flies, and bugs, and the washroom water smelled foul. Internet barely worked, the power went out frequently, and there was no backup. Even after I asked them to clean properly, staff didn't seem bothered. The check-in was bad too: I had paid in full through booking.com, but they said they'd given my room to someone else who offered more. I had no options left, so I paid extra and booked another room. What's the point of booking through booking.com or OYO? Management is doing nonsense. Never book here. Worst service, waste of money. Booking.com and OYO should take serious action. Ridiculous.

I lost my money through OYO staying at CHENNAI RESIDENCY. Every linen had urine stains, and hygiene and safety were extremely poor. This hotel is in a red light area and is famous for prostitution, so please don't book it. It's a scandalous place. Hope this review helps.

The bathrooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the service was good. The hotel was also handy for the US embassy and US biometric. Hot water wasn't there when I needed it, though. The washed comforters still had a bit of a bad smell and brown spots. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

Cockroaches, flies, and ants were all over, and both the washroom and its water smelled foul. We got no hot water even after switching on the heater. When we raised these problems, staff ignored us and didn't come to help. They also asked for more money despite the advance booking. Cheats, and horrible staff. Never, ever book this hotel.

The OYO price was around 800-900 rs, but at reception one guy added another 500 rs, then another said the only room available should cost 1500 rs, about 700-800rs more than OYO. I wasted money getting there by cab and had a really bad check-in. When I complained, they told me to do whatever I wanted and call OYO.
