I booked through mtp and cancelled the same day, then asked for a refund because they were listing such a nasty place on their website. It's extremely dirty and unhealthy. The employees are useless, and I think you'd get sick staying here. Sleep on a railway station platform and use a public toilet instead of choosing this crappy place.
The location is the only thing worth anything here. The room wasn't okay, the sheets hadn't been changed in a long time, and when I asked for clean ones the receptionist said no cleaning person was available. What were we meant to do with dirty sheets? The bathroom fittings were partly broken, water leaked out of the commode when I flushed, and nobody responded when I asked to change rooms. There was no hot water in any room, the AC barely worked, and smoke had filled the place, leaving the room smelling bad. The lift was old too. I've never seen this level of staff negligence. This is the worst OYO I've seen, an old hotel barely hanging on, and the reception staff aren't providing basic service. I don't know why OYO rates it so highly. Don't waste your money here. It's a scam.
They took Rs. 2000 for breakfast, but didn't provide any. There was no light in the restroom, and it smelled bad. I found cockroaches, plus a dirty pillow cover and bedsheet. They cheat customers. This is the worst lodge in chennai city. You're better off staying at a platform site. Worst.
We'd booked in the morning for a 12:00 PM check-in, but still waited about two hours before getting a room. After all that, the room was unhygienic and the bathroom was in a terrible state. The service was totally unprofessional and it wasn't worth the money at all.
We booked online, but the room looked completely different from the pictures and we didn't like it. The owner and manager were arrogant and wouldn't let us take photos to show the OYO team. We had a small child with us, but they didn't resolve our issues and showed no humanity. Sorry to say, this was a very bad experience with both the hotel and the OYO team. Please don't go there or waste your time and money.
