Delmon Residency

Customer service was okay, but the rooms fell short of what I expected. Cleaning and upkeep need a lot of work, and there aren’t any extra benefits. They’ll need to improve quite a bit if they want people to return regularly.

My family really liked our stay at Delmon Residency, and I was so happy with it I’d give it 10 stars. The rooms are well maintained, and the staff are so good. Room service was good too, with Wi-Fi and hot water available 24 hours a day. It felt like a 5-star hotel when we checked in. Good for families, and close to Central and Egmore railway stations.

It’s cheap, close enough to walk to Central railway station, surrounded by eateries, and has parking for two cars. But the room was full of mosquitoes, the curtains were dusty, the sheets had mosquito blood stains, and the blankets were torn. The bathroom was a makeshift setup with temporary tape and thread. If you’re after a low-cost stay, this is the place.

The reception guy told me the hotel wasn’t attached to Oyo, even though Delmon was listed there. The rate was also much higher than on the Oyo app. I had a very bad experience. Don’t book this hotel through Oyo.
