Grand Treat Hotel

The front desk employee was respectful and neutral, and deserves a better hotel to work in. The rest of the experience was awful. The AC was just for show, the walls were heavily stained, and the bathroom had no handle or lock on the door. The sheets were dirty and the blankets had holes. There was no ventilation, and with the air freshener sprayed in the room it felt suffocating, like a coffin. The corridors and rooms were unclean, the place seemed shady, and I felt unsafe from check-in. I couldn’t wait to leave. It should be shut down for guests’ health and safety.

The lights and fans didn’t work, the water was yellow, and the sheets and towels were covered in dust. The whole place smelled bad. I was completely disappointed, minus 1000. Sleeping by the roadside would’ve been better than staying here.

The room was clean and there was good parking. One downside is that they don't provide food, so we had to get it from outside. Check-in and check-out can be at any time, without a fixed noon-to-noon rule.

This was my worst experience. There was no housekeeping to help us, and the manager, devaraj, was not up to the job. He wasn’t friendly and acted as if he managed all of Chennai. I’d give this hotel zero stars.
