Hostel Gandhi

Staying at Gandhi Hostel in Chennai felt like being at home. I met lots of people, made friends, and we had a great time playing games together. I left with wonderful memories. The food was very nice, and the staff were friendly. Akshay and Shibu were especially kind to me. I’d recommend this warm, welcoming place to anyone visiting Chennai.

I come here whenever work brings me to Chennai, and it’s been reliable every time. Booking is easy, which helps when a trip comes up at the last minute. The beds are comfortable, the AC works perfectly, and the sleeping area is quiet. Washrooms are cleaned regularly, and the place is well maintained. I appreciate the rule against phone calls in the sleeping area because it lets everyone rest peacefully. The staff are polite and helpful. It’s a clean, comfortable hostel and good value for money.

Akshay at reception made things easy, which was especially helpful while traveling solo. The hostel felt welcoming from the start, and the comforting food and friendly atmosphere made it simple to meet great people while still having space to myself. I left with lovely memories and would recommend it to solo travelers.

It's a calm, clean, safe and spacious place, kept in very good condition. The dorm rooms were neat and comfortable, and they had all the facilities I needed. The home made food was great too. Everyone here was warm and friendly, and staff were available all the time. I’d definitely recommend it to solo travellers who enjoy good company, and I’ll visit again.
