Hotel Shasamco International

The management staff were good, and Shasamco offered rooms according to our needs and budget. I’d call the hotel directly to arrange what you need instead of relying on apps like OYO. The food was the one real downside: it wasn’t hygienic or tasty, so I’d buy food outside and bring it back.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and its structure is impressive. The staff were decent and we had a great time at Shasamco International. One privacy concern, though: while we were out, room service entered without telling us. Thankfully, as far as we could tell, nothing was missing. Thanks, Shasamco International.

The staff were helpful, which was the one bright spot. The room itself wasn’t clean, with tea stains on the table, and the bathroom taps didn’t work. There were also speakers nearby playing recordings all day, which got very annoying. For this price and location, it felt overpriced. Searching online, you can find a decent three-star hotel for just 200-300 more. I’ve had bad experiences with OYO in general, and Treebo seems like a good alternative.

The AC worked well, and the service was okay, but I’ve stayed at better Oyo places for this price. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, and the loo tap didn’t work. Dust was everywhere, including on and behind the TV, remotes and phones, and under the bed. The wardrobe and drawers hadn’t been cleared out either. Breakfast was finished before 10, and they gave a reason for that. This wasn’t the usual Oyo stay I’m used to. There’s a lot that needs work and better coordination.
