Both Central and Egmore stations are within walking distance, and good restaurants are just a stone's throw away. The location is excellent, with nice staff and courteous service. Rooms are a little small, but still fine for frequent travelers. I'd say it's worth staying at.

The room was excellent, and I felt the safety and security were very good.

It's far too expensive, especially without complimentary breakfast or proper facilities. I saw cockroaches in the room, and the bedsheets were stained and unclean. No water bottle was provided. Using the bathroom flooded the bedroom, there was no proper ventilation, and the intercom didn't work. I wouldn't recommend it at this price.

The room was nice but very small. The bathroom was good, although water clogged a little. The sheets and linen were clean and in good condition. The caretaker was at reception at midnight, and wake-up and room service were on time.

The people speak gently, but they're quite strict. Rooms are spacious and good, and cleanliness is good too. The narrow lane makes the hotel feel a little tacky, though it's close to the train station and beach, which is a plus. Go in with an open mind if you choose to stay here.
