OYO 24189 Maxi Stay

A five hour power cut at night meant we couldn’t sleep well, and the management took no responsibility. I was also charged 400 extra, with the explanation that OYO hadn’t updated the app price. The bathroom was dirty, the phone in the room didn’t work, and its door had no bolt, so it couldn’t be properly closed. There was no water bottle, towel, or soap. I saw people drinking there, the hotel wasn’t following OYO rules, and the smell of whisky and vodka was everywhere. This was the worst OYO I’ve experienced and isn’t worth staying at. Find another one.

The location is nice and the staff were friendly, but the basics we expected from an OYO booking weren’t there. The blanket, bedsheet, and pillow cover were dirty; after we asked, they replaced only the sheet and pillow cover. No towel or toiletries were provided. The cold water tap in the bathroom didn’t work, and the cot in our ground floor room was badly bent and almost broken. Not so great.

The room was spacious enough, and I got good sleep during a short, pleasant stay. The hotel setup seemed new and was well conditioned. I’d suggest booking if you’re paying under Rs 1000. It can be hard to find on the way there because there are no signs or OYO boards.

A fairly ordinary stay. The room and bed were neat, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the price was easy on the pocket. The toilet was a little dirty, though, and the AC remote sometimes didn’t work. Noise from your room can carry into others, which especially isn’t great for couples.
