The main road location on Porur Ponnamalle road, above a marriage hall, is convenient. Rooms are on the 1st and 3rd floors, 15+7 in total, mostly with AC. They were nicely maintained, with two double beds and an attached bathroom with a water heater. We were told the lifts weren’t working when we arrived, so we had to climb three floors. There’s no room service, so guests have to manage on their own, though one person did his best to help us.

We’re from the south and have lots of relatives, so it’s useful that the mahal has 24 AC rooms at a low cost. Each room can fit 15 people, which means we don’t have to look elsewhere for rooms when family gathers. My cousins and I have attended nearly four weddings here. The atmosphere feels lovely and pleasant, and it’s a great low-cost marriage mahal in Chennai.

It’s a three-storey, air-conditioned mahal with good infrastructure and plenty of parking. The location is prime, about 2 km from Kumananchavadi. Seating is around 700 people, or up to 1,200 when the crowd is moving.

There are 21 rooms on the third floor, and the place works for gatherings of about 100 to 150 people. The ground floor has the office, the wedding hall with a DJ setup is on the first, and food is served on the second.
