OYO Flagship 14396 Tambaram railway Station

This hotel isn’t at the exact location shown. It goes by another name, and if you ask reception, they deny it’s an OYO hotel. There’s a Jayanti residency hotel at that location, and they’ll ask 2000 for a two-hour stay. Don’t book this place through OYO or use that location for your booking.

We booked a Hotel O Tambaram (OYO) room online after reading the Google reviews and considering how close it was to the marriage hall. It was a terrible experience, and I really don’t recommend this hotel for families, especially with kids. The room and bathroom were very dirty, there was no tube light, and the whole place smelled of smoke. The bed was awful, the geyser didn’t work, and the charger point was coming out, which was dangerous. Please be aware of Hotel O Tambaram, the worst OYO hotel in CHENNAI.

The rooms were in horrible condition, with no hygiene or facilities. Management may as well turn the place into a public washroom and charge Rs.5.

It’s a budget hotel with facilities and ambience only a little above average. There’s no restaurant inside, and food is brought in from outside. Its location near Tambaram bus stand and the market is a plus. At reasonable rates, it could work for a family stay of a day or two, especially if they improve the ambience, service and cleanliness.
