I booked a room a week ahead, but when I arrived, they told me the rooms were already booked. The service was terrible, and I lost 1399. Customer care was no help, and I was told the money wouldn’t be refunded. Don’t book through the Oyo app or stay at this hotel.

The toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a month, and there were so many mosquitoes. The bedsheet was yellow too. I wasted both my money and time.

We had our own ID proofs, but the receptionist refused to check us in and left us waiting outside because he couldn’t wait 30 minutes for the rest of our party to arrive with theirs. He insisted everyone had to be there with ID before he could process check-in. He wouldn’t even assign us one room, saying two policemen had come for “checking” and were staying there. Apparently letting us in was too much to ask.

The rooms are pretty good for a one-night stay, but the hotel is tucked far inside Chrompet town and Google Maps was needed to find it. There’s also a big gap between the menu prices and what they actually charge for food.

After we arrived at Raj Residency, they told us there were no rooms, even though the internet had shown availability. My family and I were exhausted from traveling overnight by bus. We got angry, then tried to find somewhere else.
