Spot On The Grand Guest House

The room was spacious and the bathroom was well maintained. When we needed an AC room after booking a non AC one, the staff helped us. But there are still lots of maintenance and cleaning problems. The cupboard looked like it hadn't been cleaned for ages, the bedsheets weren't washed properly, and the towel smelled. They should clean the cupboards, put a dustbin in each room, and provide a proper TV provider. Just small maintenance things, but there's a lot to fix.

OYO wasn't much help after my original booking was cancelled at the last moment when I arrived, and they moved me here instead. The room they gave me was dirty and non AC, with an out-of-order toilet and poor water flow in the bathroom. The bedsheets and pillow cover were unclean too. Bad experience.

Very poor service. They said they didn't have an employee to clean the room, so it wasn't cleaned. If you pay through OYO, they won't accept the booking. You have to contact OYO customer care, and the refund can take 3 days.

The lodge reception demanded more than I'd paid through Oyo and only gave me a room after I paid the extra. Oyo can't be relied on. Booking through it is pointless.
