Sri Sai Residency

The room was poorly maintained, the AC barely cooled, and the bathroom mat was filthy. The intercom was completely out of order, and the fan made noise. Service was extremely poor, leaving us very dissatisfied with our stay at Sri Sai Residency. We took photos of the room and plan to include them with our review so others can make an informed decision. It was a terrible experience.

The place might have some aesthetic potential, but cleanliness was a letdown. An unpleasant smell hit me as soon as I entered and stayed throughout my visit, making it hard to feel settled. Management needs to put more effort into deep cleaning and review its maintenance practices. Air freshener alone won’t solve this, the place needs a thorough overhaul to feel welcoming. I hope they take this feedback seriously, since it could be a lovely establishment with some care. I’ll look elsewhere on future trips.

I expected more after hearing about Sri Sai Residency Chennai from friends, but left frustrated and disillusioned. I rarely write reviews, though I’m sharing this for others’ sake. The way women were treated showed a troubling lack of respect. It wasn’t just one or two offhand comments, the attitude felt pervasive and made me and several others uncomfortable. That kind of degrading behavior has no place in a professional setting. I also felt taken advantage of by hidden fees and unclear pricing. It came across as though making money mattered more than serving customers, and I left feeling misled. Clear, transparent business practices matter. I believe in constructive feedback and know even good establishments can have a bad day, but this experience was fundamentally flawed. I wanted to support a local business, but can’t condone the treatment of women or these financial practices. I hope the review cautions others. Accountability and respect should be standard.

The building seemed to need a whole book of repairs, and I didn’t feel safe staying there. When I touched the screen, the entire grid fell into my hand. The cupboard door came off when I tried to open it, and the bathroom doors did the same. The bathroom lock came away in my hand too, and the washbasin tap turned sideways when I opened it. This place needs to check its safety measures. There was no room service or attendant to help us.
