ULO ECR Blue Ocean Resort

The quiet setting by the sea was the best part for our family outing. It’s right at the end of the road, which makes it feel secluded. Mr.Vijay and the staff were humble, polite, and did their best to meet our requests while the resort was still being worked on. We enjoyed the room view and ambience, and the service made us want to return with a larger group. The food comes from a nearby restaurant rather than the resort, but it tasted great. Rooms were still being renovated, and cleanliness could improve because there weren’t enough staff. My ratings: hospitality 5/5, rooms 4/5, ambience 10/5, cleanliness 4/5, overall 4.7/5.

The pools are tiny, about the size of bath tubs, and the food was poor. Room service was almost nonexistent. If you’re planning a drinking party, you may be fine here since you’ll be focused on that and might not remember the other drawbacks. If you want to stay aware and enjoy the rest of the place, it’s not for you.

Rates are reasonable, and the staff were hospitable. The pool was well maintained, and it seems suitable for families as well as younger guests. I’d give hospitality 5/5, room cleanliness 4/5, maintenance 3/5, and tariff 4/5. The resort needs better upkeep, especially for water leaks, TV connections, and AC cooling.

I wouldn’t bring my family here. We paid 3000 rupees per day, which felt far too expensive for what was provided, and the photos don’t match the place. The corridor and ground floor were left messy after other guests partied overnight, and nothing was cleaned during our two-day stay. Housekeeping never came, and the room’s small opening by the door meant people outside could look in, so we didn’t feel private. The dining hall smelled and wasn’t clean, though the complimentary breakfast tasted better. The staff service was good, and the AC worked well. It might suit bachelors who don’t mind poor cleanliness, but it wasn’t worth the money or time for us. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
