Marari Arthunkal Beach Villa

Shruty’s cooking was delicious, and I’d definitely suggest eating at the homestay. Melvin and Shruty were so warm and helpful that I’d come back just for them. They helped me find another homestay and arrange a rickshaw, too. The location is central but quiet, the rooms are clean and have what you need, and the balcony looks out over the beach. I wholeheartedly recommend Arthunkal Beach Villa. Thank you all, and I hope to return soon.

The room was just right, the food was delicious, and the villa is right on the beach. Melvin and his family were lovely hosts, very warm and attentive to everything we needed. Their dogs are cute, too.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after, with greenery all around and easy access to the beach. We spent four days here as a family and had a wonderful time. Being right by the beach made it easy to relax to the sound of the waves, while Alappuzha was close enough to explore. Melvin and his family were so welcoming. His wife made delicious traditional Kerala food, including a fantastic fish curry and other local dishes. Every meal felt carefully prepared, and their hospitality made us feel at home. A peaceful place for simple, authentic experiences, and one we’d happily recommend.

We only stayed one night with Melvin and his family, but it was a lovely visit. They’re great hosts, the room was clean and comfortable, and peaceful Arthunkal Beach is just a few steps away. I’d recommend this homestay wholeheartedly.
