Elegant Residency

We spent our holiday at Hotel Elegant Residency and had a very satisfying stay. The atmosphere was peaceful and the location convenient. Our room was comfortable, clean, and neat, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Good service too. Great one ❤️

): I was charged an unexpected extra ₹3,600 at checkout for the projector, although nobody had mentioned any additional cost when I requested a room with one. They provided it only the next day. I had booked a Deluxe Room through Booking.com, but the hotel asked me to cancel and pay directly, which I did. The lack of transparency felt unfair and misleading, and the stay was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless there’s truly no other option in Coimbatore (CBE).

The check-in and check-out were disorganized, staff coordination and customer service were poor, and female guests were left waiting at reception for long periods without a proper explanation. Rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with basic hygiene ignored. I also have serious privacy concerns because it feels as if cameras may be placed inside the rooms, which is disturbing and unacceptable. The manager is often seen drunk and behaves irresponsibly and unprofessionally, and there are no proper operating procedures. When people report genuine problems in reviews, management denies they ever stayed there. That shows a lack of accountability. This property lacks cleanliness, professionalism, safety, and respect for guests. I strongly wouldn’t recommend it.

Room service was very poor, and the staff, especially the female staff, didn’t seem professional. The manager is extremely arrogant, seems to be drunk often, and never answers calls, so it’s hard to get in touch. Many customers have reportedly gotten their refunds back after bad experiences. This may suit bachelors, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for families. The whole stay was pathetic. The 4.4+ ratings also seem fake, possibly generated through digital marketing. Don’t trust the reviews. You’d have to be okay with rude and unprofessional behavior to find this place comfortable.
