FabHotel Prime Royal Castle

Room service was the bright spot. The team were helpful and did a good job. The hotel is close to the city center and has some good parking spaces, but there’s a serious safety problem: rooms 401 and 402 could not be locked from the inside while we were there. We reported it and nothing was done. Check that a room locks properly before settling in.

The location was the one real plus, and breakfast was good. The rooms and booking experience were a different story. The website photos didn’t match what we found, and the “suite” was basically like a normal room with an extra, useless space. We paid ₹1000 more for it. We booked directly by phone, but the person handling it didn’t listen to our requirements. After we’d paid an advance, he changed our rooms and said everything else had sold out, so only a suite was available. We were made to pay another 1000more. There was no hot water, AC, or Wi-Fi. Two of the four rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes the whole time. At ₹2300–₹3200 a night, that quality is unacceptable. I don’t understand the high price.

Breakfast was really nice, and the room was neat and clean. I stayed here with my family and found the hotel excellent for the money. The staff were friendly too. Families can stay here, I’d recommend it.

Decent, clean room and fine for a business trip. The location is handy too, close to the bus stand and market. Pretty nice, just okay.
