The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The sweet ragi semiya, crispy masala dosa, kuzhi appam, vada, Pongal, poori, sambar, and chutney all deserve a mention. The whole team was hospitable, and the roof top restaurant staff gave great service despite being limited in number. The rooms were neat and tidy, though getting room service meant hanging the dangle on the door handle and then reminding reception. The main entrance staircase is kept locked, leaving the elevator as the only other way in. There's just one lift, so the wait can be long. Internet was slow and sometimes wouldn't connect. I asked reception almost every day to fix the showergel dispenser, but it never got fixed. Apart from those problems, things were good.

The room was full of cockroaches, liquor bottles, papers, and other mess, and maintenance was poor. The desk staff and cleaning team were both arrogant. Not worth it at all. Don't go here, you'll be disappointed.

4/10
The washroom was cramped and badly laid out, with poor lighting that made it uncomfortable to use. I also found cockroaches in the room, which is unacceptable, and the hygiene fell well below a basic standard. The room itself felt outdated, with worn furniture and old, uncomfortable beds and mattresses that made it hard to sleep. The overall upkeep was lacking. There was nothing royal about my stay at Park Royal Inn, and I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel needs to improve the rooms, cleanliness, and maintenance.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was nice. Staying here was a very good experience, though room service could have been a little better.

Check-in and check-out were super quick, and the morning staff were very good. We had an excellent stay. If we travel to Coimbatore again, we'll try to visit, and we'd recommend the hotel to our friends.
