Mr Kannan cooked the dishes we asked for, all tasting like proper home cooking, and was a real gentleman. Our host was welcoming and arranged everything we requested. The villa has three bedrooms with good views and privacy, set at a wonderful viewpoint overlooking tea estates, hills, and dolphin nose view point. In good weather, you might be surrounded by mist. The place felt cozy, warm, and nicely put together. The roads are accessible and parking is good. Recommend it.

The peaceful surroundings made this feel like a real break from the daily rush. It’s a warm, welcoming place, and wherever you look there’s something beautiful to take in. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Kannan, the caretaker and cook, really made our stay memorable. He was warm, always ready to help, and made delicious home-style meals. Moving Mist Villa (near Kotagiri & Coonoor) was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with peaceful views across the hills and misty valleys. A lovely quiet escape, and I’d highly recommend it.

The place is even more beautiful in person than it appears in the pictures. Suresh was wonderful with the hospitality and made sure we felt at home.

The food at Moving Mist Villa, Kotagiri, was tasty and felt like home cooking, and Kannan was polite and helpful. The meals were priced more like restaurant food, though, which seemed quite high for simple homemade dishes. We spotted peacocks and deer in the morning, and there’s a nice little waterfall nearby. The villa was well maintained, the views were lovely, and the area was peaceful. A good getaway, though the food prices could be better.
