The villa sits beautifully among the mountains and has 5 bedrooms, each with an attached spacious bathroom and hot water. There’s a TV, Bluetooth speaker, WiFi, parking on the premises, and a campfire and BBQ stand. The BBQ stand was complimentary. I brought coal, and the villa person gave us a hair dryer to light it. There are several things that need work. The dining table should be bigger to seat 15, since that’s the occupancy, and floor mats are needed in every room and by the bathrooms. Toiletries should be ready before guests arrive. Food needs to be prepared and served on time, and the kitchen needs another helper for preparation and serving. The campfire costs more than at other homestays. Kitchen charges were disclosed only on checkout day, and the grocery list wasn’t clear, with prices on the high side. We were told to stop music and dancing at 10 PM, though at a tourist place people may want more time at night to enjoy their trip. Drinking water wasn’t properly available, so we had to ask each time, and only a few rooms had bottles. At night there was no water from the tap; when we reported it, the person turned on the motor. Customers should get a detailed invoice showing grocery items used and full disclosure of the package when booking.

The place is serene and has a chill vibe. The people looking after us were awesome, and this spot made the Ooty trip worth it.
