Hotel El Magnifico

Getting to the hotel was easy, with a main road on both sides. My room was tidy and clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job. The staff were good and cooperative. The restaurant food looked well presented, but tasted just okay, not especially good.

It’s fairly good for the price, but I had several problems in the room. Some rooms are stuffy, some have bed bugs, and others have scary cockroaches. The bathroom toilet smelled badly, and nothing was done after I complained. Since I’d already paid, I had to stay. The AC was also so loud it sounded like heavy rain all day and night. Room no 2not5, stay awake. Happy stay. (That's cockroache in photo)

Breakfast has very few options, and the food is just okay. The worst part was seeing a cockroach crawling on my toothbrush. The hotel is closed off on every side, so there’s no fresh air.

What made this five-star for me was the help from Amal in guest relations. She was very helpful. Our room was big and bright, and the hotel was fancy and right in the heart of the area. It was an old Ritz, but the human interaction really made the stay special.
