Lords Resorts Silvassa

This isn't a Lords franchise anymore, but it's still a good family stay in Silvassa. The food is good, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Service is fast. Cable TV doesn't work in every room, and they seem to move it over from unoccupied rooms, though they do that quickly.

The breakfast was excellent, with lots of tasty choices, and the pool is about five feet deep. We booked two classic rooms for five adults for June 24-25, 2017, through MakeMyTrip and Mobikwik, getting Rs.300/- off. It came to around 6K for one night with breakfast. The resort is easy to find on Google Maps and once you're in Silvassa. For that price I was satisfied, though it isn't among the best places around. Staff were polite but not helpful, and service was really slow. Our room service meal was good but took nearly an hour. We went to look around in the evening and found only the pool open. Indoor activities were closed, and everything there was broken. Staff say everything is available, but you find out the truth after checking in. It was raining heavily during our stay, so the TV and complimentary internet weren't working. It was a peaceful, budget trip overall.

There are a swimming pool, a clubhouse with table tennis, snooker and carrom, a conference hall, and a spa. The restaurant has a range of tasty continental dishes, seats around 70-100 people, and serves good food, though the portions may feel costly for the price. Rooms are spacious, neat, and clean, but some have a deteriorating ambience from what seems to be poor maintenance, especially for the tariff. Staff are supportive and helpful, and room service is satisfactory. The children's play area is below par and needs maintenance too.

Getting around is difficult without your own car. The rooms are good but need better upkeep, and room service is very poor. Staff should be much more courteous and attentive to guests.
