The food and service were okay, but the room maintenance really let us down. Our first room had a broken flush, and after we moved, the next one had the same problem. Water flow in the bathroom was poor too, and even basic soap was missing. With high room rates, the bathrooms and repairs need proper attention. These issues affected the whole stay. Please check each room carefully before guests arrive.
We came as a family to enjoy a meal, but the food was awful and the staff were rude and unhelpful. The soups tasted so similar that we couldn't tell lemon coriander from Manchow, and the Manchurian and chili potatoes had no distinction either. There wasn't a smoking area, so people could smoke in front of children, and staff didn't support us when there was bad behavior. This didn't feel suitable for families or kids at all.
Having lunch with my family at Hotel Jazira, Daman was such a peaceful experience. The sea view gave us a calm setting, and we really enjoyed spending time together there. The food was delicious and well prepared, which made the meal even better. It was a memorable visit, with lovely views and a tranquil atmosphere.
I can’t recommend this restaurant based on this visit. I’ve been back before, and the inconsistency was especially frustrating while hosting friends. The food didn’t live up to those earlier experiences. I hope the restaurant takes the feedback seriously and improves. This time was a disappointing experience.
A good mix of rooms, food, and a place to party, all in one. The location is an extra bonus. Must visit.
