Green Tara Residency

I stayed here in November 2019. The rooms were clean, and the host was very helpful. It’s a good spot near Ghoom if you’re looking for a place away from the crowds, and the homemade food was so good. I also got to park my car in one of her shops since it was empty, which was a bonus.

The host was such a warm, lovely lady and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We spent two nights at this clean, well-run homestay in Ghoom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and dinner was great too, even though we ordered it a bit late.

The manager was so helpful and made sure we had a memorable visit to Darjeeling. It felt like home, and the breakfast tasted great. A really nice place to stay, easy to recommend to anyone visiting Darjeeling.

The lady running this homestay made us feel right at home, and the food was delicious and very cheap. We stayed a couple of nights and had an amazing time. The rooms were clean, well managed and reasonably priced. It’s a quiet spot, about 3 km from central Darjeeling with plenty of transport into town. Batasia Loop is within walking distance, and Ghum railway station is 1 km away. From the windows you can watch the toy trains whistle along the tracks just behind the place.
