Hotel Aliment gave me a quiet mountain retreat, with a little distance from Darjeeling's busy center while still being accessible. Getting to the main market may mean a bit of a walk, though it's a lovely stroll. I found it clean, friendly, safe, and good value, with delicious food and great hospitality. It would suit families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a comfortable base to explore Darjeeling.

I paid ₹2,000-₹3,000 per night, which felt like a good deal. Checkout was easy, and the staff helped with our luggage. The room was clean and comfortable, with the necessary amenities, and the hills around Hotel Aliment made for scenic views. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the in-house restaurant's local food was especially good. The Wi-Fi did get patchy sometimes. Warm hospitality and good value, I'd consider staying again and would love to come back.

I was there in November 2024. The rooms were clean and the food was good, but the rooftop view was the real highlight, absolutely awesome ♥️. You don't need to go somewhere else just to see the view.
