We booked through the goibibo website and paid in advance for four nights to get a discount, but checked out the next day because of safety concerns and the poorly maintained road, which made carrying luggage and walking up and down difficult. The hotel was hard to find, with no street directions even though other nearby hotels had signs. There was no lock inside the room. The rooms and blankets smelled bad and didn't seem to get cleaned. The manager spoke pleasantly but didn't check on the guests. Staff and room service were awful, calls and complaints went unanswered, and they didn't even want to bring drinking water. They had a kitchen, but the utensils were always dirty, and there was no food service. The hotel is far from Darjeeling Mall Road, the local taxi stand, and shops. This place doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. Don't ruin your holiday by staying here.

Our room on the 2nd Floor had a nice view from the window, and the rooms were clean. Service was really good too. The hotel is about 5 to 6 minutes from Darjeeling Mall Road, on the way to Lower Toong Road beside the Horse Stables. The road nearby isn't well maintained, so bringing luggage is difficult.

The staff and receptionist were friendly, courteous, and ready to help whenever we needed them. They even brought bottles of hot drinking water at midnight. Each bathroom has a geyser, and our room was a 3 bedroom. This was my first stay here. It's a 4 to 5 minute walk from mall chowrasta, with eateries and gift shops nearby. Chawk bazar is also within walking distance. All the rooms have valley views, and on a clear day you may glimpse Mount Kanchanjunga. Tourist cars don't come to the hotel entrance, so for sightseeing or pickup and drop-off you need to walk to clock tower, keventer's, or bhanu bhawan.

There isn't a restaurant, and the rooms are small. Still, it's decent for the low rate, just 550 in Oct 2019. Astabol road is the location, about a five-minute walk from the mall.
