Wongdi, Pratham, Prasan, Manjit, and Mohan made the stay feel especially warm with their thoughtful support and service. We loved the food, every dish was full of flavor and cooked just right. The rooms were elegant and the atmosphere peaceful, with hospitality that made the whole visit feel perfect. A great choice if you want comfort, quality, and genuine care.

The food has plenty of choice and is delicious, all vegetarian. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well kept, with room service that's very good. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, and the hospitality stands out. You can enjoy views of Kanchenjunga from the rooms and shared areas. Istana Resort & Spa is a four-star pure vegetarian hotel on Lal Kothi Road in Darjeeling, with 40 rooms across five floors. It has warm wood-paneled rooms with private balconies, a wellness spa, bonfire activities, and a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant. The Japanese Peace Pagoda and other major attractions are a short walk away.

Miss Dolka and Miss Sejal were warm, professional, and very helpful, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. The hotel staff generally were kind and welcoming too. We had a lovely stay, with a beautiful, breathtaking view outside. We'd be happy to come back.

Prasam, Jugal, Mohan, Manjit, Paulous, and their team made the service excellent. Everyone we met was welcoming and ready to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the whole stay was wonderful. I'd recommend it for an easy, pleasant visit.
