From my room at hotel Hill Grand Himalaya, I could watch the toy trains pass, with panoramic views of the hills and Mt Kanchenjunga. The staff were all friendly and polite. Sunil ji especially went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and stress free. I had a great experience and would gladly return if I get the chance to visit the hills again.

The view from the grm room was so good, I loved it. Sunil da on the staff was also very close and caring, like family. 💕

The hotel was okay, but the rooms weren’t well lit and the staff’s behavior wasn’t good. Don’t book sightseeing cabs through the hotel, as they charge much more than the market price. I booked a cab there for five people, and they sent us a Swift Desire in the morning. I felt completely cheated.

I was delighted with my stay at Hotel Hill Grand Himalaya. The staff were friendly and polite, the room was very clean, and both the food and the view were excellent. It’s a complete family hotel, and I recommend Hill Grand Himalaya to anyone heading to Darjeeling for a vacation.
