The food and service were the real highlights. Each meal brought a different cuisine, with dishes presented beautifully and adjusted to dietary needs. The location is lovely and remote, but there isn't much to do on the property. The pool was advertised as heated on the website and in publications, yet it wasn't working. We were told it doesn't work because the pool is fully open and takes too long to heat in cold weather. I wish that had been made clear beforehand. The rooms disappointed me too. There were no blackout curtains, so early morning light comes in, and the fluted glass at the top of the bathroom partition lets the bathroom light flood into the bedroom when someone uses it. The interiors feel cold and uninviting, which seems especially out of place in such a cold climate.

We came to Amaya to relax, and the staff made that easy from the moment we arrived. The daily menu from Chef Rupali changes and features local produce across different cuisines. The food and service were both outstanding. Sushant and the team were so accommodating and did everything they could to make us comfortable. Thanks especially to Ankush, Arun and Gaurav, who made the stay even more memorable. A short review and five stars hardly do the experience justice.

The meals made the farm-to-folk idea feel real, with fresh, nature-led food throughout. Hospitality was warm and sincere, and its simple approach suited us perfectly. Amaya is a peaceful place with quiet luxury and beautiful surroundings. The design and the whole experience feel in harmony with nature and sustainability. Thoughtful details and the calm atmosphere made our stay unforgettable.

The staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely sorry about the pool, which was out of service. We chose Amaya Resort mainly for its all-weather heated swimming pool, so that was a major letdown, especially for the kids. The stay didn't feel worth the premium price to me. It seemed like an ordinary three-star hotel, without anything especially unique or any live performances to make it feel special. Activities also cost extra. If the pool had been working, I might have felt differently.

The air was pristine and the surroundings were breathtaking, and the whole stay felt serene and tranquil. Everything was thoughtfully organized, from check-in and the room details to the menu prepared each day. Pratima, Hemraj and Akanksha went above and beyond to make us comfortable and make the trip memorable. It was a fantastic weekend getaway, and I can't wait to return.
