Capital O 15566 Hotel Rosewood Inn

The breakfast arrangement was confusing, since it was shared with 2-3 nearby hotels, and the quality wasn’t impressive either. In the room, though, the food was good and freshly made. We stayed at Rosewood Hotel in Dehradun because it was budget-friendly. The rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable enough for the price. Service had its frustrating moments: when I asked staff to take away the tray, they told me to leave it outside my room, and they also refused my request for an extra plate. Rosewood is decent value with okay rooms, but the breakfast setup and staff attitude could use work.

The sheets were dirty, there were no towels or water set out, just empty glasses, and no room heater was provided. The washroom wasn’t good either. Service was very poor, and there wasn’t even a way to call someone for help. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We felt unsafe and cancelled immediately after the staff’s discriminatory treatment caused us a lot of stress and harassment. On arrival, they said they don’t allow guests of different religions, even though I’m legally married and was there with my wife, who follows another religion. The staff behaved badly toward us. This was deeply unprofessional and below basic hospitality standards. I’m sharing what happened so other customers don’t have to face the same discrimination. Be careful booking this property, as they may deny check-in under the name of a policy.

Cleanliness problems meant we kept getting moved from one room to another. The rooms and amenities were in poor condition, so the whole stay was frustrating and disappointing.
